Indulge me. :)

Last Friday, this ended. Then Etheria will start, but that is for another album. :)

Encantadia is a kingdom OUT of this world. It is composed of four kingdoms. The fairies in LIREO, the miners in SAPHIRO, the water-influenced ADAMYA, and fire-riddled HATHORIA. The peace has been relatively kept with the tight rule of the Queen Mother of Lireo, Mine'a. But in Hathoria, a power-grab is brewing.

The four daughters of Mine'a are given the task of each keeping the four gems representing Wind, Fire, Earth and Water. But dissension threatens the sisters, and soon alliances will be made and broken.

oh that's the good news (even for me who follows the show and wants to relive the magic again). there will be a DVD release with english subtitles, but probably first quarter of 2006. :) January, at the earliest.

Oh, goody! I will be looking forward to that! I'm sure I can't buy it agad but at least I can buy later! I am now - as in now - going to their site so I can put it in my list of links. Been meaning to do so for a long time but hadn't had the chance till now...

great costumes and make up too... but the sad truth is that i dont have time to watch teleserye on tv... Im already asleep by that time... I'll just buy the dvd, let me know when its out ok...

but i am kinda liking Etheria more now, because it is darker. (and I am inclined to the darker side)

I still see Etheria as Encantadia, to be frank. It so nice that the Sang'gre's are still a big part of it. I don't care much about the "new" characters.

Asval got darker, buffer and not bulol. Raquim got lighter and shorter. Mine'a, too. Cassiopea now speaks better Filipino. Of course, Aquil got way younger, LOL!!!! And so on and so forth.

BTW, can you just tell me why they speak Encantadia language at times when everybody understand everybody else anyway? LOL!!!!! It's nice, but really rather silly. I understand why they did it in LOTR because the elves and only some others could understand the language.

Hagorn's still shady. Avria's long legs are a distraction. Asval is MORE commanding. and there is a January-December affair (with Danaya and the young Aquil. harharhar!)

Alfred Vargas is still so sinfully hot.....*sigh*

Absolutely. And you don't have to be a guy or gay to be distracted. And I'm sorry, but not to diss her or anything, but Francine just isn't "it" as Avria. Not convincing enough.

To be fair, I'd rather watch Dennis than Richard G...The young Danaya seemed thinner now compared to when she portrayed Danaya in Encantadia, did you notice?

i just think Dennis is going the 'conventional' route. too much following in Christopher de Leon's footsteps. he is in danger of being bland.....i am looking for that 'adventurous' streak in him when he portrayed the gay character in Aishite Masu.
the young Danaya must have felt the pressure to look as good as the old Danaya....:D

I actually did not mind the not-so-thin one. She was also cute and Danaya is supposed to be cute. The young Pirena doesn't look anything like theold version, really. Sunshine is mestiza and the young one is morena.

Agree. At least she had that. It's funny when she and the young Danaya were captured and made to work in Etheria. Young Pirena seemed more mature and responsible than the Old Pirena, and she seemed a bit protective of li'l sis...Awww... To think they like to argue a lot since they're both hotheads.
